
Walter Wolf is currently senior counsel with Entergy Services, Inc, providing legal advice on public utilities regulation. Prior to joining ESI, Walter was with the law firm of Stone Pigman Walther Wittman, LLC, where his practice covered the fields of intellectual property law, entertainment law, commercial law, and international law.
Prior to attending law school, he was a curator at the Petty Collection in San Antonio, Texas and The Historic New Orleans Collection in New Orleans, Louisiana.
In 2001, he became a Commandeur de Bordeaux by the Grande Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux, France.
He graduated from the Loyola University School of Law in 1992, where he was the Articles Editor of the Loyola Law Review, 1991-92. He received his undergraduate degree from Trinity University in 1984.
Mr. Wolf was admitted to the Louisiana bar in 1992. He is a member of the International Trademark Association, the Copyright Society of America, the American Bar Association Section of Intellectual Property, serving on Committee No. 306 (Broadcasting, Sound Recordings and Performing Artists), Committee No. 307 (Author’s Rights); Committee No. 355 (Special Committee on Online Copyright Issues) and the ABA Forum on Entertainment Law. He is also a member of the Louisiana Bar Association Section of Intellectual Property, and the New Orleans Bar Association Section of Intellectual Property. Additionally, he is a member of the International Law section of the ABA and a member of that section’s National Security Committee.
