Details: A new administration was formed in September, replacing the old regime that had ruled Japan almost continuously since 1955 for over 50 years. What does this mean to U.S.-Japan relations?

Hon. Sato will touch upon the prospect of bilateral relations in the context of geopolitical affairs in East Asia, whereas Dr. Sohma will focus on the nature of the new administration.
