Alla Rosca, President

Alla Rosca, an associate researcher at Edgewater Research in New Orleans, boasts two decades of expertise in academia and management. Specializing in qualitative and quantitative research with a doctoral degree in Political Science, she has authored three books and over 60 academic articles spanning topics such as democratization, security, education, management, public relations, and research methodology.

Dr. Rosca collaborates internationally, having practical experience in governmental and non-governmental organizations across Romania, Moldova, Hungary, Germany, Ukraine, and Morocco. In 2007, she co-founded the NATO Center in Moldova and, in 2021, initiated the "Speranța" project, establishing a school for young women leaders in Moldova.

Arriving in New Orleans in 2007 as a Fulbright Research Scholar at UNO, she later taught at Tulane University. Actively engaged in the local community, Dr. Rosca promotes international understanding and collaboration. Since 2015, she has served as a board member of WACNO, assuming the role of President in 2023.
