Leonid A. Krasnozhon, Fundraising Committee Lead
Leo Krasnozhon is an Associate Professor of Economics and the holder of the Dr. John V. Connor Professorship in Economics and Finance in the Joseph A. Butt, S.J., College of Business at Loyola University New Orleans. He was a visiting fellow at the Free Market Institute at Texas Tech University and a research fellow at the American Institute for Economic Research, the Property and Environment Research Center, and the Institute for Humane Studies.
Leo’s research focuses on the political economy of governance, public choice economics, and economic development. He has more than 20 academic publications, including the top economics journals. Leo’s work has been featured in popular press outlets, including PBS NewsHour, Forbes, the World Politics Review, and the Louisiana Weekly. He holds a PhD in Economics from George Mason University, a MA in Economics from Clark University, and a BA in Economics from Kharkiv State University (Ukraine).
