Sam Tarpley is a graduate student at Tulane University where he researches English Literature and Comparative Russian Studies. At Tulane, Sam is an Andrew W. Mellon Fellow in Community-Engaged Scholarship. The Mellon program, which is housed in the Center for Public Service, offers Sam the opportunity to foster a relationship between WACNO and the greater New Orleans area to make international education more accessible and inviting.

Post graduation, he plans to attend law school.
